bewick swans

I’ve been writing some content on my weekly radio show contribution to KGUA in Guala, Ca.

Today’s thoughts were on what we may find worth being thankful for in these trying times.

I will sum it up easily, for I come back to nature. A tornado of Starlings cruised by my windowpane this morning and I was in awe in the majesty of the hundreds of birds in such synchronicity outside my window on a cold November Saturday. Be thankful you see the beauty in nature

It is disheartening to see that the whooper swans and Bewick swans in England are not arriving back in England as quickly from Siberia in their natural migrations. Its so warm they are only getting down as far as Germany before they stop, since the warmer temperatures are making it easy for them to have a shorter trip and stop early there instead of their normal nesting in Britain. It climate changing.

I see Pat Metheny is playing with Ron Carter in January at the Blue Note in Tokyo for you jazz lovers. I first saw both Pat and Ron in 1977 and have y et to see them together. Hmmm, a January trip to Japan?

Enjoy my images. I haven’t offered many new ones. I’m now finishing up a short show season with my last two shows in NJ and Chantilly, VA. I’ll see you soon.
